Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and the developer of Pin It (“we”, “us”) covering the Pin It iOS app, its widgets, and the API at getpinit.app. Installing or using any of them means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, delete the app.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Pin It on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may use it for personal or business purposes.

You may not sell, sublicense or redistribute the app, reverse-engineer it except to the extent the law says you may, or use the API outside the app in a way that degrades it for other people.

Pin It displays numbers from other systems. Stock and crypto prices are supplied by third parties, may be delayed, and are provided for information only. Revenue, deploy and repository figures are read from providers whose APIs can be slow, wrong or briefly unavailable.

When you connect Stripe, Shopify, GitHub or Vercel, you confirm you are entitled to grant that access. Your relationship with those providers is governed by their own terms, and their availability is outside our control. Pin It requests read-only access and cannot change anything in a connected account. You can disconnect at any time in the app or from the provider’s settings.

Do not use Pin It to:

• access an account you are not authorised to access;
• circumvent rate limits, scrape the API, or run automated load beyond ordinary app use;
• break any law, or any of our data providers’ terms.

We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access that does any of these, without notice where the abuse is ongoing.

Pin It is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of Pin It — including from a number that was stale, missing or wrong. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars.

This agreement is between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Pin It or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If Pin It fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.

Apple is responsible for addressing any claims by you relating to Pin It only as set out above, and is not responsible for third-party claims that Pin It infringes intellectual property rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and are not on any US Government restricted-party list.

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. Sections covering warranties, liability and governing law survive termination.

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
